Breive Pumping Station was commissioned in 1982. It pumps water from the lakes Breivevatnet/Hartevatnet up to the Vatnedal dam via the tunnel between Lislevatn and Store Førresvatn lakes.

The pumping station is part of the regulation systems for Holen Power Plant. Number of pumps: 8. Maximum pump height: 100 metres. Output consumption: 8 x 2.5 MW. Annual energy consumption: 44 mill. kWh.

The owner of the pumping station is Otteraaens Brugseierforening. Skagerak Kraft is a member through Otra Kraft DA, of which Skagerak owns 31.4% of the shares.
