Hølseter

Hølseter Power Plant is located in Flesberg municipality in Buskerud county. The power plant is among the smaller power plants owned by Skagerak Kraft.
Hølseter is known as a ‘mini power plant’ and utilises a 70-metre waterfall between Hånavatn and Hoppestad, east of Blefjell mountain.
The power plant was established to utilise the waterfall through a 1,600-metre long tunnel connected to Vrenga Power Plant. The Gjuva watercourse is diverted to Vrenga via a tunnel from Hanavatn lake to Hølseter. Hølseter is a mini power plant that was installed to utilise the waterfall between these reservoirs behind Vrenga.
The main watercourse for the power plants is Numedalslågen.
Hølseter Power Plant is equipped with a Francis turbine and has an annual production of 10 GWh.
