Cooperation with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration concerning the Moen spoil tip
(22 May 2013) Sauland Power Plant and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration have been approved for a shared spoil tip for the development of the E134 from Århus to Gvammen and the planned development of Sauland Power Plant.
In connection with the work on the new E134 between Århus in Seljord and Gvammen in Hjartdal, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration requires a spoil tip in Hjartdal municipality. Sauland kraftverk AS has the same requirement if they are to carry out the planned power plant development.
Hjartdal municipality has approved the zoning plan for establishment of the Moen spoil tip for spoil from the two projects. Following one complaint that was received, the plan was confirmed by the County Governor of Telemark on 3 April 2013.
